LOGLINE: A working holiday to a Kibbutz becomes a nightmare for Joshua when he is caught in the crossfire of an ongoing conflict.

SYNOPSIS:

No Time for Love" focuses on unemployed Londoner Joshua and Israeli kibbutznik Dahlia. Their paths cross when he enters the kibbutz for a working holiday. They quickly connect and fall in love, after a night in the disused bunker. The become closer as Dahlia shows him the Holy Land. However, their relationship becomes short-lived. Upon returning back to the kibbutz from their trip, they're told that the kibbutz has been targeted during an assault by Hamas Militants. To Dahlia's despair Josh and all the other volunteers are told that they must leave immediately. In defiance, and against the wishes of his Mother, Josh decides to stay in Israel and seek work in Eilat. Tragically, the coach is hijacked. He and the other passengers are taken hostage and kept prisoner inside a tunnel in the Gaza Strip. It is there that Josh faces deathly threats and beatings, until a huge explosion above allows his escape. Incapacitated he seeks shelter in the ruins of a war-torn city where life comes cheap and death too common. When he is rescued by IDF Medics, they fight to save this young English volunteer caught in the crossfire of two nations at war. And when Dahlia is informed of his of death, she grapples with her own turmoil and when she and Josh found peace and love, now irrevocably altered.
