Richard is tired of his monotonous job and the disappointment of predictable and depressing horror films where the killers always come out on top. Fed up after enduring yet another terrible horror movie recommended by his friend, he takes matters into his own hands and creates a revolutionary device called The Alternator. This invention allows him to enter movies and alter their narratives and endings.
After a string of successful modifications using The Alternator, Richard and his friend decide to venture into the latest offender of horror movies, Chain Shatter. Through a series of trial and error attempts, they ultimately succeed in fixing the movie and defeating the formidable Chain Breaker. Satisfied with their achievements, they return to their normal lives.
However, just as they settle back into their routines, a chilling revelation unfolds. Horror movie villains and monsters start appearing throughout the city. Richard and his friend soon discover that Chain Breaker managed to escape just before the portal closed and hacked into The Alternator, releasing all the other monsters into the real world. In a climactic and gruesome battle, they muster their strength and ultimately defeat Chain Breaker.
Utilizing a self-destructing remote for The Alternator, they send all the unleashed monsters back into their respective movies, bringing an end to the chaos they caused.
