Seven months later, Gabriela wakes up in bed, screaming from a nightmare she had about making a deal with a demon to save her life. However, she dismisses it as just a dream. Unbeknownst to her, a demon has taken control of her body. Gabriela embarks on a bloody rampage, killing every man who crosses her path, until she encounters Mal. As Gabriela starts developing feelings for Mal, the demon reminds her that she only remains alive because of the deal she made, vowing never to love a man again. If she succumbs to her emotions, the demon threatens to end her life.

Fed up with being a mere instrument, Gabriela realizes she is falling in love with Mal. In response, the demon places Gabriela back in the hospital where she once fought for her life. However, this time, she meets her demise.
