LOGLINE: In 1979 Alaska, two highly trained FBI agents, known as Manhunters, hunt down a twisted serial killer.
SYNOPSIS:
While on patrol, two officers find a man tying a body to a stake in the park. They lose the killer, however. FBI Agents Weaver & Knight arrive a day later following a request from the local police. Weaver & Knight share their disdain for the 'back of beyond,' but quickly meet up with the two detectives working the case, Morrow and Carpenter.
Together, the detectives start making a path of the killer's attacks, noticing victims with gang affiliations and finding a connection at an oceanfront nightclub. Weaver & Knight display their bad cop detective work, intimidating victims and earning three suspects. The group moves to detain the suspects, finding out from one of them, Kieran Jackson, who Weaver pushes Morrow to interrogate, that the victims all go to the local high school and a possible gang war lead.
Investigating the school, they find out the school therapist is a paroled killer, Melvin Callahan, and is running a scheme with the girls in the school, co-managed by a troubled woman called Naomi. The detectives go to the local ADA for an arrest warrant after building a substantial case. With Naomi testifying in court, Melvin is arrested for the murders.
The next few days after wrapping up, Weaver is called to a local town graveyard where Naomi has been discovered killed brutally. Inside the graveyard, Weaver discovers the killer is now after him.
