LOGLINE: Duped by the CIA into illegally visiting a prohibited island, a rogue British spook stumbles upon evidence that shocks the world.

SYNOPSIS:

CIA Special Agent Suzie Hunt, an attaché at the US embassy in London, travels to the west coast of Scotland to confront former Royal Marine and Special Forces officer Jamie Shaw - an MI6 United Kingdom Deniable (UKD), who previously assisted the CIA in a covert operation that resulted in the destruction of a missing USAF 'Broken Arrow'.

There, she finds him living a seemingly quiet life on the Isle of Skye.

Over after-dinner drinks, Hunt reveals intelligence linking Shaw to the revenge killings of several Israeli cocaine traffickers; members of a cartel responsible for the murders of his wife and daughter, while he and his family were living in Oman, employed by the late incumbent Sultan of Oman as a military adviser to his special forces.

Hunt points out that as his revenge spree included a murder in Los Angeles, he is wanted by US authorities.

Hunt calls in the debt: the abduction of Prince Richard, a nephew of the King, wanted in the USA by the FBI on pedophilia charges.

Left with no choice, Shaw arranges the snatching of the prince while he is fishing on the Balmoral estate, Royal Deeside. A waiting US submarine, submerged off the coast of Scotland, transports the reluctant royal stateside.

Shaw resumes his life only to be visited by Hunt again. This time, it's a so-called personal request. Aware that Shaw can deliver the goods, Hunt and her sister, an anthropologist with an apparent book and possible movie deal in the wings, offer Shaw a lucrative mission: Visit North Sentinel Island and obtain evidence about the islanders — a pre-Neolithic tribe who have inhabited the island for approximately sixty-five thousand years.

Initially reluctant, Shaw discovers it's illegal to visit the island and that the inhabitants are dangerous, as the killing of US missionary John Chau in 2018 testifies.

However, after falling for Hunt romantically and negotiating a larger reward, Shaw accepts the challenge and, together with another former Special Forces operator, undertakes a HALO parachute jump to get onto the island covertly — and illegally.

There, the pair set camera traps and explore the island, hoping to collate more evidence. During the expedition, Shaw discovers evidence suggesting that both bodies and wreckage from missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 had been washed ashore and reports his findings to Hunt.

Such a discovery causes panic within the CIA, who in turn murder one of Shaw's backup team members and abandon the British operatives on the island.

Using a trusted clandestine exfiltration method used by both UKSF and MI6 personnel to escape foreign territory, Shaw and his partner leave the island and return to the UK.

Back home, Shaw discovers he was fooled into visiting the island. The real reason was to gather evidence of a missing Chinese hypersonic missile. Furthermore, he is stunned to hear the revelations regarding his findings about MH370 will remain, for political reasons, hushed up.

With the help of a member of the IRA, the brother of the murdered member of Shaw's team, Shaw convinces the CIA that a second missing Broken Arrow has been transported from Algeria to the UK hidden within a Formula One team transporter. There, the CIA is told, it has been concealed within the wreck of the SS Richard Montgomery, a second world war US liberty ship that lies on the seabed in the Thames Estuary, its holds still containing 3,500 tonnes of explosives and munitions.

It's a game of chicken — and the US cracks. Together with both the Malaysian and Indian governments, America informs the world that debris and bodies were washed ashore on North Sentinel Island. The political fallout begins. Hunt is recalled to Washington.

Meanwhile, the IRA, having been inadvertently led to the missing atomic weapon via MI6, acquires it from Islamic radicals and submerges the weapon in the sunken liberty ship.
